You can FTP the specs from apple.com [130.43.2.2] from the /pub/dts/mac directory (or wherever it is under /pub). The PICT2 file format, PackBits (i.e. MacPaint file format), and 32-bt QuickDraw are all documented in Apple technical Notes, which you can get from your Apple Technical Support Person. The operator at (408) 996-1010 should be able to steer you toward him.
