[comp.graphics] Object Data File Format

gaines@msdrl.UUCP (Michael Gains) (08/15/90)

Hi,
I was reading June's MacWorld with the cover article on graphics
and inside they mentioned that there really isn't a 'standard' for object
file formats, but I was wondering if anyone knew what Renderman's object
file format is so my program can be compatable with the others. Thanks

Pixar charges for the specs to RenderMan. Not sure how much, but
my boss just ordered them. I think somewhere in the range of $50
but Im not sure. It would be best to call them. Im not sure of
the number, but they are based in Caifornia.
