We have used a clay cooker for over two years to cook a variety of meals. All possible recipes follow: Soak the pot. Throw in whatever you want, meat, veggies, seasonings, etc. Use as little extra liquid as possible, but some wine is OK for flavoring. Crock pot recipes are a good guide for ingredients, but really any combo that makes sense will work. Put in a cold oven. Turn on heat. Cook till done. Figure on times of 1-1.5 hours, but it varies with volume and amount of water. Two tips. Don't bother putting it in the microwave. It doesn't save time. Don't cook a briscut in it, it doesnt work that well. Use chuck or round instead.
