I just downloaded the Isosurface Visualizer from NCSA and have a few questions. The first regards the documentation, I know its in BitHex format, but how do I convert it to ASCII on my SGI 4D/25? I don't have access to a Mac, not conveniently anyways. Another question regards examples. Are there any and where are they (ie. names and locations!). Otherwise I can hardly wait to try it, we're in the process of developing a volume visualization tool for underground mining and are currently developing Marching Cubes and Levoy Ray Tracing implementations, so we'd like to have something to compare with. Thanks, Brent corkum@ecf.toronto.edu

According to the person who maintains our documentation, Word format, Postscript format, and plain ascii text format will be available in a couple of weeks; but as the case with most of our public domain software, you could also order printed and bound versions from us. Just call (217) 244-0072 and tell the receptionist you'd like to order documentation and/or software. We also have a catalog you can ask for.
