For a while I have had a program that allowed viewing of ".MAC" picture files (MacPaint format, I think) in a scrolled window on a Commodore 64. Lately I've come across some picture files that almost work, but not quite. What looks like non-picture data shows up in the top left, and the picture is displaced to the right. I'm not sure what the problem is.. whether the format has changed, or the files I got don't quite follow the format, or the program I have doesn't handle all the possibilities, so I'm looking for information about the format of these files so as to go about either fixing or replacing the program I have.
