I am searching for some images of easily recognizable places for a personal project. I have already gotten pictures of the golden gate bridge, the capitol building, and the taj mahal from wuarchive. I would like photographic scans or good artwork in up to 256 colors. My specific need is for 320X200 resolution GIF files, but I am pretty flexible about format (I have access to conversion programs) I have a list of anonymous FTP sitesbut most have stopped carrying pictures for one reason or another). I need about a dozen of these images. I'm looking for places like: St. Basils in Moscow Leaning Tower of Pisa Eiffel Tower Great Pyramids (or Sphynx) Grand Canyon Statue of Liberty Niagra Falls Berlin Wall (what's left) Great Wall of China Japanese Temple Old Faithful Mayan (or Incan) Temple Spaceship Earth of Disney World etc. etc. Any help toward finding pictures like these would be greatly appreciated. I read this newsgroup, so will see responses here. If you have files that you can e-mail directly to me, please uuencode them first, so the many mailer daemons don't ruin them.
