[comp.graphics] Is the Encyclopedia Brittanica on ---> CD-ROM <--- yet????

That is my question....I am a serious student with a 10-yr. old Brittanica 
version on a shelf at home, and am very interested in optainin it on
disk.  Is there anyone who knows?  The 1-800 number advertised on TV
has a "dumb" rep who had absolutely no idea what CD-ROM was....

Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
