To those of us who've not had to learn cooking the hard
way, Peas can be frozen, fresh and canned [preservatives
& sugar added].  Most 'chefs' prefer not to use the lat-
ter while beginners and pseudo-chefs care not for the
difference.

Peas can also come dehydrated:  What was that brand back home - HIMA? (HIMA 
*sounds* right.)
