Does anyone know to convert visible wavelength ( in nanometers ) into RGB components? Any information, papers, alogorithms , etc would be most helpful. There's a good short article that covers this and the reverse transition in the July '89 issue of IEEE CG&A, by Andrew Glassner. The Wyszecki and Stiles "Color Science" book gives you everything you need to know (i.e. the CIE matching functions).
