I have recently acquired a Texas Instruments TMS 34010 Software Development Board (SDB) for my PC. Does anyone know of a set of drivers for this that would allow me to use it as my console, as well as a graphics device ? Anyone know of any other interesting software for this board ? Thanks. Well, as far as using the board for your system console -- I assume that you are running on a DOS machine (correct me if I am wrong), you will be hardpressed to find any software which will make the board a 100% compatible IBM adapter suitable for the system console. It is not IBM display adapter compatible at the hardware level or software level. To be most successful in using this board you should probably have two monitors -- you can get away with a mono adapter and monitor for your system console and then for medium res (640x480x16) graphics you can use this board with a VGA compatible monitor. My company has been marketing DGIS for the TI SDB for 4 years now. If you have DGIS then you will be able to run many, many applications on the market. Among them: Autocad, Windows 3.0, WordPerfect, Harvard Presentation Graphics, numerous other CAD applications, GEM, Ventura, etc... >Anyone know of any other interesting software for this board ? In addition to what I mentioned above, there is also a system development kit available which provides the necessary software components to allow you to write custom code to talk to this card via the DGIS i/f.
