I would like to get your expert opinions regarding software, hardware, and price estimates for the following configuration. The proposed setup is 2 or 3 Autocad workstations, networked to a server (Pppossibly optical?). We will probably use Novell for the networking software, but suggestions would be welcome. I'd like to get recommendations for the best hardware to use, along with ideas of what kind of cost I'm looking at. I've gotten some quotes with this idea in mind, but everyone wants to sell their favorite equipment; I'd like some objective opinions. Thanks, Connie
