Does anyone know of any large bitmap files availble for FTP out there? Subject matter doesn't matter ;] - I just need an example of a high resolution image for a demonstration. I have put a 3760x3794 grayscale image of the moon on ftp.ee.lbl.gov. It's called hugemoon.pgm.Z. Scott is already retrieving his copy. I'll leave it there until tomorrow in case anyone else wants it. I scanned this image on an Apple scanner, so the quality is marginal.
