My dear Netfellows, I'm looking desperately for TIFF tools. Is there anybody out there who has info on BBS-s or archive servers (with anonymous uucp, since I DONOT have ftp access) that have PD TIFF/F tools on them. Don't care about operating system nor if it's in binary or source. I was thinking of viewers for machines like MAC/PC/ST, also graphic editors for TIFF/F or a format that we can convert to TIFF/F. Also things like printerconverters are welcome too. Any leads are welcome. Of course you can mail me the stuff immediately if you like. -- UUCP: ..!uunet!mcsun!hp4nl!integow!hot or hot@integow.UUCP or hot@hot.mug Roland van Hout, Sr. software engineer, Integrity software consultants, Pelmolenlaan 16, 3447 GW Woerden, Netherlands, tel +31 3480-30131, fax +31 3480-30182

It is available by ftp from SIMTEL. The same company also makes a product called "TBG" that takes a TIFF file and scales it down to a smaller while while at the same time converting to a larger number of grayscales. Venu P. While we are discussing TIFF and TIFF/F especially, can someone send me the CORRECT host address where the docs describing these standards are supposed to be available for anonymous ftp? The address which was given some time ago (somewhere in British Columbia?) didn't seem to work. Thanks much for any good pointers. Truett Smith truett@cup.portal.com OR truett@tdd.sj.nec.com
