The University of Delaware Art Department will host a vendor demonstration of computer graphic equipment from American Technology Resources, SONY Corporation, and TRUEVISION, Inc. on Thursday, November 15, 1990, in 102 Recitation Hall, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. In order to anticipate seating arrangements, kindly respond with a confirmation of attendance no later than November 12, 1990. As the circle of technology widens, so too has interest in the potential educational and applied creative use of these new tools: TRUEVISION, NuVista Board & Software: SONY Still Video Cameras & Recorders: SONY 8mm Video Cameras Recorders/Players SONY Color Video Scanner SONY Still Video Printer SONY Multiscan Projection System SONY Laser VideoDisc Recorder/Processor This is a "write once" Laser Video Recording system which allows for recording and playback of superb quality pictures and sound on the Laser Media. External computer control is possible for maximum user flexibility. The System is useful in applications where mass storage of high quality still pictures and/or moving pictures are required. For instance: Interactive Training, Computer Graphics, Information Display, Archival Storage- e.g. data base collections of Museums, Laboratories, etc. Scientific Applications- high resolution blk and wht e.g., microscopic analysis.
