The student ACM SIGGRAPH and the student IEEE organizations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are working on a joint project for our school's Engineering Open House in the spring. Our project is to build a parallel-processing ray-tracing computer. To display the pictures, we are looking for a 24-bit graphics card with either NTSC output or the highest resolution we can get. Ideally the card would be IBM-PC compatible, since that is the architecture with which we are most familiar, but other suggestions are welcome. Price is not our biggest concern, but, of course, the cheaper the better. Thanks for any suggestions.
