I recently posted a note saying that the second printing of our book was due out soon, and gave a couple of hints on how to recognize it. Several people have mailed me, informing me of a far simpler system: On the back of the title page is a page full of technical information about the book--a sample Library of Congress catalog card, the cover image credit, etc. At the bottom is the following sequence of symbols: ABCDEFGHIJ-DO-943210 Apparently, in the second printing, the first letter of this sequence will be gone, and it will read: BCDEFGHIJ-DO-943210 So there's a quick-and-easy way to identify the 2nd printing. -John Hughes
