I don't normally read this group, so I don't know how many times this question get asked, but here goes: I need a program with which to edit color (or grayscale) images with. Requirements: It be free! :-) UNIX (Any reasonable flavor) X Windows (ugh - but it works usually) I want to be able to change individual pixels to anything in a predefined colormap, and perhaps change that colormap. Does such a beast exist anywhere, in any form? Nick. "Monochrome? Who uses that anymore? Monochrome is just an excuse to get your boss to buy you a color workstation" -- ______________________________________________________________________________ Nick Williams. njw@doc.ic.ac.uk ...
