Many thanks for the numerous replies to my earlier posting requesting scene descriptions for either QRT or MTV. All those who asked for copies of responses, files, etc - Be patient, I haven't forgotten you! One of the most interesting replies was one pointing me towards a database held at DEC in Palo Alto within which are numerous object descriptions, etc. Unfortunately they're all held in a file format known as OFF. It's possible to convert these files into RayShade input, but apparently not into QRT or MTV input files. Can anyone prove me wrong? Can OFF be translated into QRT or MTV files? Please help before I go stark raving mad... For those who're interested the object descriptions (in OFF format) can be obtained from the following mail-response- server... object-archive-server@decwrl.dec.com To start with just send a message saying 'help', the rest will follow! Many thanks. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, William Charles. University of Manchester, Dept. of C.S.
