I need to take an image from Corel Draw and use it as an icon in an X window program. The only *color* pixel format (as opposed to an object/vector format) which Corel seems to export is WordPerfect Graphics. Does anybody have any info on the format of these files? I cna't answer your question about the .WPG format. However, I can recommend a low cost program called HIJAAK that will import and export many, many graphics formats, including .WPG, EPS, Amiga IFF, etc etc etc. It's only $50 or so, so well worth it. lee

WordPerfect Developers Kit is $75 plus shipping. Includes file formats for all WordPerfect products and some utilities on diskette. No connection, etc. Jim Winer -- jwi@mtfme.att.com -- Opinions not represent employer. ------------------------------------------------------------------ "No, no: the purpose of language is to cast spells on other people ..." There is also very high quality SHAREWARE program, Graphic Workshop,
that can do all those conversions (including .WPG). It can be found
on Simtel20, on wuarchive.wustl, edu, and on most BBS I know here in
France. My version is 4.6. The archive file is called grafwk46.zip.
Besides format conversion it can display and dither images, supports
printing and 8-9 types of VGA cards.
It is manufactured by Alchemy MindWorks, I just recalled.
The distributed version has no limitations and no annoying screens.
