Hi graphics folks, We are looking for software, preferably under Unix, to produce three dimensional histograms of a variable such as population density on a land map given a data base of addresses vs map coordinates vs population (or some other quantity). It is desirable that the software be in source form, but not essential. We would like to be able to display the results on a VGA monitor and rotate the graph or change the viewing angle to permit looking "behind" features that obstruct other features. Pseudo-color would also be a plus. We would also like to be able to print the map on a laser printer or plotter. If anyone knows of anything like this (public domain preferred, but we're interested in all info) please let me know. If you wish you may send e-mail and I will sumarize for the net if there is interest. Thanks in advance for any info.
