Hi folks, As part of my research work, I need to make use of algorithms giving the distance of a point from a randomly oriented convex polygon and its 3D extension ie. distance of a point from a convex polyhedron. I would greatly appreciate if those of you who have the knowledge of such algorithms or the references wherein they can be found, would email me the same.
