For the Amiga, you can get 24bit framebuffers for around $500 or so,
there are a couple of "24-bit display" devices for around $200-300.

Personally, I use a Mimetics FrameBuffer/Grabber, for which I paid
around $700 (includes cost of RAM to populate the card).  In retrospect,
I feel I paid too much -- I didn't go mail order.
