Hello, I'm not usre what to do in my situation: I'll have some "c" code running, the user inputs some data - an expression, is then passed to Mathematica. While being crunched, it'll send periodic data out to a render(?) which is generating a 3-D cube in some space, that's moving up x units, or down x units, etc. while the code is being crunched in Mathematica. when said code is done, all done. Everythings fine execpt for the graphics stuff. I'm running the main code and Mathematica on a SUN 4/110 and the graphics is supposed to be on a DS5000/200 with the Trubo 3-D board. We do have Phigs and/or GKS and the Foley, et a software online, but I'm not sure on what tool(?) to use. Any words of wisdom? Idealy if anybody had any sample stuff in any of the above or something else I could get and use would be a great help. Perhaps if somebody has a good explanation of the difference of render's et al this could help me grasp what's need to put up a graphical image of some data onto a computer. What's the difference between Foley's code and the gks stuff or the phigs? Thanks for your time and help, I appreciate it. -- David Doll Computer Science & Enginnering University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195 M/S: FR-35 davidd@cs.washington.edu
