[comp.graphics] Data Glove: Blatant attempt to sleaze off sombody elses work

tjh@bucrf11.bu.edu (Tim Hall) (01/24/91)

I've writing a generic Unix device driver for our Data Glove. The
problem is how to calibrate the glove? The calibration code that
comes with the glove is a binary and only runs on our SGI's. It'd
be nice to have the glove working on other machines! Anyhow, VPL
will only tell me that it's a log table that needs to be loaded
but they won't cough up any coefficients needed, just that it took
them a long time to figure the coefficients out. So before I spend
long hours (sniff;-) of trial and error - I'd appreciate it if anybody
who has already done the above would help me out. Thanks.
