[comp.graphics] PC Graphic Formats?

	I need to know a little about the various graphic formats
	used on the PC. So, could someone send me a little info
	on them. Just a couple of lines explaining things like
	# of colors, resolutions, etc would suffice.
	My reason? I'm in the market for clip art for the Amiga
	and notice how much more there is available for the PC
	then the Amiga. I really need high resolution (300dpi min).
	I've gone an ordered a package called Art Maker.
	600 .pcx 300dpi images. I have a way of converting to
	use/display on the Amiga. Thanks.
