[net.cooks] crustless quiche recipe wanted

jbd@duke.UUCP (Joanne B. Dugan) (04/11/85)

Does anyone have the recipe for "crustless" quiche that the
frugal gourmet prepared last weekend? I remember that it used
cottage cheese, jack cheese, and flour (and of course eggs), but
I don't recall the proportions. My husband taped over the show
before I had a chance to write down the recipe.

Thanks in advance,

I just happened to have the recipe for the quiche right here.

	From "The Frugal Gourmet"
						   o
	10 eggs preheat 400
	1/2 c. flour
	1 t. Baking powder
	1/4 t. salt
1 lb. Cottage Cheese (large curd)
	1 lb. Jack Cheese
	1 stick butter (melted, cooled)

Mix the eggs, then add the rest of the ingredients.
Put mixture in a 9 x 13 pan, and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes,
then lower heat to 350 degrees for 30 more minutes.
