Got a problem: I'm viewing Gifs on a Mac IIsi and it seems (quite mysteriously) that the more I look at a Gif (the more _times_) the worse the picture quality gets. Specifically, the dark colors run and even tones become spotty. I don't appreceiate my prized images deteriorating over time (isn't that why we use digital images?) I mainly use QuickGif, but also Photoshop. Both seem to kill by images. Any suggestions / similar findings? Could this have anything to do with GIF87 / GIF89 BTW, what is the difference? Do QuickGif and Giffer both read both? Thanks for any ideas. Nathan Gasser gasser@eniac.seas.upenn.edu -- "Everybody remember where we parked..."
