Yes, really $2. Science News (Feb. 2, 1991, Vol. 2, #5) has an add for the Library of Science Book Club. Get 3 books for $1 each and buy three more books in one year. One of the choices is Graphics Gems, and it counts as two selections. There are other computer related books shown, but the club contains other science material. Issue July 7, 1990, Vol. 138, #1 also contains an add if you would like more selections to choose from. I hope this offer doesn't cut into the authors' profits because I don't want to look like a real heel. I haven't gotten Graphics Gems because I don't have the money, however, I can probably swing this deal. Perhaps there are others that are in a similar situation. Tom

The LOS is a moderately good book club IMO, but people might want to know it's one of those where you have to return the little card every few weeks saying you *don't* want the current selection, or you get it anyway.
