[comp.graphics] Graphics Gems for $2

Yes, really $2. Science News (Feb. 2, 1991, Vol. 2, #5) has an add for the
Library of Science Book Club. Get 3 books for $1 each and buy three more books
in one year. One of the choices is Graphics Gems, and it counts as two
selections.

There are other computer related books shown, but the club contains other
science material. Issue July 7, 1990, Vol. 138, #1 also contains an add if you
would like more selections to choose from.

I hope this offer doesn't cut into the authors' profits because I don't want
to look like a real heel. I haven't gotten Graphics Gems because I don't have
the money, however, I can probably swing this deal. Perhaps there are others
that are in a similar situation.

The LOS is a moderately good book club IMO, but people might want
to know it's one of those where you have to return the little card
every few weeks saying you *don't* want the current selection, or you
get it anyway.	You can refuse the book if this happens, but it's a
minor hassle.
