Hello everyone, I recently came across a few 3d objects file for Atari CAD 3D program while ftping. I search thru all archives of comp.graphics and found a few articles in around '87 '88 that were discussing this file format. From the articles, I was told that the numbers are stored in Motorola Fast Floating Point Library format (LIBS). However, these articles didn't give enough information to allow me to extract data from the data files. The data files I have are in binary and there are the old CAD 3D format. Not the newer 3d2 format. Can anyone please tell me how can extract data out, or how can I get documentation on this format? ALso can anyone tell me what is the Motorola Fast Floating Point Library Format? I have also search thru Compuserve's Atari forum and still couldn't find any information. I greatly appretiate any help. Thank you very much. slim.... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sau-Tsien, LIM (HP 9000/835 HP-UX 7.0 ) (Department of Electrical Engineering ) (University Of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada ) (uucp: ...!alberta!edson!bode!slim ) (internet: slim@bode.ee.ualberta.ca 129.128.16.96 ) (Addr: BOX 60257 UofA Postal Outlet ) ( Edmonton, Alberta ) ( Canada T6G 2S5 ) (Tel.: (403) 439-9770 ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
