[comp.graphics] Question for Old-timers

michael@stdc01.UUCP (Michael Jones) (02/27/91)

Many moons ago, (circa 1981), I watched a SIGGRAPH video tape that
was from the then recent time frame. The one I am thinking of had
the Triple-I (Information International, Inc.) demo reel with the
"Disco Polyhedrons"; a collection of gyrating solids with changing
color and Donna Summer music in the background ("ooooh ... love to
love you, baby"). If you saw it, you may well remember it. It was
distinctive.

My question is, what was the music used in the introduction to the
reel? It had the traditional transition-to-warp-speed star field
with a nice violin-oriented classical music background. I have not
heard this music since then, do not remember the composer, and now
have a nagging desire to hear it again.

Thanks for any light you may be able to shed on this matter.
