Someone posted a very interesting (and in depth) article about his experiences with JPEG and the converting util. I forgot to save it and it has since vanished from our news server. Can someone repost it or mail it to me? Thanks Just to clarify: The person tested 2 pictures and recorded the times compressing and viewing, and the quality of the final products, and other stuff. I'd really like to see that message again. I saw the message on alt.s.p but this seems like a better group to put this in.
