I was attempting to find the weather map gifs again, but the only server
name I have for them seems to no longer allow guest ftp access. This
machine was vmd.cso.uiuc.edu. Does anyone know what is up with that
machine or where there is another archive site?

It still allows FTP access, and you still have to 'cd phil.515' to get to the gif's.
