Subject: Drawing a graph of 2D data on a Sun SparcStation 1+

Hello!

This is a plea for help from someone in the public domain.

For the last few weeks I've been trying to find a C or Fortran program that allows a Sun 4 (SparcStation 1+) to draw 2 dimensional graphs and barcharts with labels on the axes, provide a main title and scales etc. The output would hopefully be in color and use the OpenWindows system though I'd settle for Sunview. I don't need to have animation, etc, rotation, zooming, complex 3D analysis or anything like that and I'd rather not be trying to emulate a Tektronix. All I'm after is just a quick (but sophistic

ated-looking) plot where I can pass a series of arguments for such things as lables, title, axis scaling and the data to be plotted and voila, a color graph on a Sun (in a new window)!
It would ne nice if the output could be sent to a Postscript printer.

I have tried the following:

gplot gr grtool sunplot viewwld apE

but they are either not in color or are far too complex for the task I have for them.

If you know of anything like this could you let me know. Alternatively send the Internet number and address of where you've seen the program. My address is

Thanks very much!
