I have recently retrieved two animation files from an FTP source, both of which were zipped. When I unzipped them, the resulting files had a .DL extension. Can somebody please tell me what .DL files are and what I need to run them and where I can get it? (I know about .GL animations, but this is a new one on me.) Thanks in advance. Replies can be posted or emailed to me at emw@vaxc.cc.monash.edu.au Monty Wilkinson

You need DLVIEW21.ZIP (or newer version) to see it. Of all the .DL's I've seen the animation occurs on a small (about 100x100) portion of the screen. They're all in color but a key makes them into b&w. I think they originated in Italy since the Dl-VIEWER program can be switched to either Italian or English mode -Fractalman- LateNight BBS Graphics & Animations
