We are considering acquiring a film recorder with 35MM slide making capabilities. Our requirements are such that a minimum of 2K x 2K (anr probably better) resolution is needed, so that leaves most of the "screen dump" devices out. Other requirement are (near) unattended operation, accessable from our local area network, and PostScript, as well as standard raster image, capability. I am familiar (in some cases *too* familiar) with both the Dicomed D48CR and the Management Graphics Solitaire. I'd be interested in hearing what the net has to say about the Celco and/or any other devices currently available. Please reply via email. If I get sufficient information as to make it worth doing so, I'll summarize to the net. If I'm leaving anything out of my requirements, I'd appreciate knowing that, too. advTHANKSance. spl (the p stands for photons `r us) -- Steve Lamont, SciViGuy -- (408) 646-2752 -- a guest at network.ucsd.edu -- NPS Confuser Center / Code 51 / Naval Postgraduate School / Monterey, CA 93943 "The only way to deal with exploiters is to terrorize the bastards." - The late Congressmember Phillip Burton
