I have a friend who is interested in writing a flight simulator on a platform that's relatively affordable but fairly powerful (I'm guessing for under $10k). He's an experienced C programmer, but mostly on higher end systems (like an SGI). He was wondering what hardware for high performance 3d-graphics he should get and what software libraries (for clipping, scanconverting etc) are available. Thanks for any info.... ---Steve Drucker
