Report on AUSGRAPH'90, the 1990 Australian Graphics Conference
Melbourne, 10-14 September 1990

This report, one page long, was published on the Computer Graphics Forum
magazine Vol 9 N. 4 Dec 90 and describes the contents of the conference.
Obviously the proceedings of the conference are also available, and
would be considerable more useful.

SIGGRAPH proceedings and ACM Transactions on Graphics from about 1982, onward.
The authors to look for are Rob Cook, Bill Reeves, Alvy Ray Smith,
Loren Carpenter, Duff, Pat Hanrahan, Tom Porter.
The topics that have been published are: distributed ray tracing, texture-
mapping, a fast image computer architecture, an analytical filter, the A-Buffer,
the Reyes rendering architecture, a model for ocean waves, 2 papers on
particle systems, and a couple of papers on compositing (alpha-channel stuff).
Some specific references from SIGGRAPH proceedings are:
* Computer Graphics, Vol 21, No 4. (July 1987)
* Volume Rendering, Computer Graphics, Vol 22, No 4, p 65-74.
I haven't personally looked all the remaining articles up yet, so I
cannot give any more specific references. However, there are
obviously heaps of them.
