No, I do know how to spell; this is not a recipe for coq au vin. This recipe really is cocoa + wine. I haven't tried it (yet). If you decide to try it (for Mother's Day??), tell me how it is. Bob Devine Cocoa Vin --------- 2 Cups semisweet chocolate chips 4 egg yolks 1 1/4 Cup heavy cream 3/4 Cup Zinfandel wine Put the chocolate chips and egg yolks into blender (do not blend yet); set aside. In a small saucepan, combine cream and wine. Heat just to boiling. Do not boil. Simultaneously turn blender on at low speed and pour hot cream mixture over chocolate chips and egg yolks. Blend briefly on low until ingrediants are combined and chocolate chips have almost completely melted. Pour into individual serving dishes or wine glasses. Chill several hours or overnight, until firm. Serve topped with whipped cream. Serves 8.
