[comp.graphics] IRIS graphics library error?

   Can anybody tell me why a call to the "shademodel" function
   in the IRIS graphics library gives a segmentation violation
   error.  We are currently running software level 4D1-3.3 here
   and I am using a sample program in C to get acquainted with
   our IRIS machine (a 4D/85GKB system).
