[comp.graphics] Pixar Technical Memos

       Does anyone know if the internal Pixar
technical memos are available to the public?
If so, I would appreciate any info on acquiring
them. I am particularly interested in the following:

      Smith, Alvy Ray, "Volume graphics and volume
      visualization, a tutorial", Pixar Technical 
      Memo 176, Pixar, San Rafael, CA, May 1987.
