[comp.graphics] ADVICE WANTED: Protocols for photographing color computer screens

annala@neuro.usc.edu (A J Annala) (05/09/91)

I would appreciate any advice available on selection of film, filters, and
exposure protocols for photographing color graphics from SUN, BARCO, and
IBM PC EGA/VGA/SVGA monitors. In particular, some explanation of the real
chromicity coordinates of phosphors used in these monitors vs. selection
of film balanced for 3200 degrees K (tungsten), 3400 degrees K (photoflood),
or 5000 degrees K (daylight) film.

Thanks, AJ
