COLOR IN COMPUTER GRAPHICS & INTERACTIVE SYSTEMS
a special issue of ACM Transactions on Graphics (TOG)
Color is becoming ubiquitous in computer systems. This special issue is
intended to focus on the principles, algorithms and systems needed to support
color in a wide range of applications. Both full papers and submissions
suitable for the interactive notebook are solicited.
Topics include, but are not limited to:
color models for 3D graphics
interactive systems for color design & selection
color in user interfaces
device-independent color
digital color technology
color coding for visualizing complex information
analysis of color systems
color perception of digital media
the effectiveness of color in digital systems
color in design and modeling systems
incorporating artistic principles in color graphics systems
color in applications such as medical imaging, cartography & animation
Five copies of each submitted manuscript should be sent to the special issue
