halazar@media-lab.media.mit.edu.MEDIA.MIT.EDU (Michael Halle) (05/13/91)
I have started a fetal archive of display holography. It lives on media-lab.media.mit.edu (18.85.0.2), and is available (only) by anonymous ftp. The directory is ~ftp/holography . Currently, two papers and a somewhat out of date bibliography live there. Send all correspondence about the archive to: holography-archive@media-lab.media.mit.edu Hopefully, more introductory stuff will show up there in the next couple of months. Yeah, in my free time. I'll also try and get the other on-line versions of papers into the archive. Sorry, I cannot satisfy requests for files by mail. If you're looking for ways to compute fringes that you can reduce 100x and look at under a microscope, you currently will not find it here. Here's the README from the "papers" directory: This directory contains the electronic versions of holography papers from MIT. As of yet, no introductory papers are available here. That may change in the near future. genholostereo -- "The Generalized Holographic Stereogram", Michael Halle, Master's Thesis. Feb. 1991. 134 pages.
