I need some help on a related graphics problem that I have. I am working on a character recognition problem and hope that there are people out there who has written code ( Turbo Pascal especially ) that they could send onto me to do the following 1. Segment an image into its constituent words/letters for easier recognition other than the straight histogram method. 2. Skeletonization of an inputted word or letter for easier recognition. 3. Something that will output to the screen quickly an image. 4. Noise reduction in an image. All these are relatively easy to do but quite time consuming so why re-invent the wheel. Just ask Comp.Graphics! James. ------------------------------------- James A. Lundon. Maths Department University of Limerick Castletroy Co.
