(Pardon to those who read alt.graphics.pixutils: I posted this there yesterday...) Please excuse my ineptitude if I am posting to the wrong group, but does anyone know where I can ftp source (for Turbo Pascal 6.0) to display images on an IBM-compatible PC? I have a friend who is doing an experiment and wants to display pictures of people (that she's scanned in to a PCX or other file) on a computer and *at the same time* have a window or something below where she can ask the person sitting at the computer questions: she is testing people's abilities to remember faces/associate them with names... TP6.0 is pretty easy to use in terms of testing for which graphics board is using, and initializing/drawing lines, etc. But it has nothing, as far as I can tell, in the way of reading GIF, PCX, etc. files in and displaying them. I'd like to do this and also put questions on the screen. So if anyone knows where I can get source to read a file (whatever format: I can convert them ahead of time, if need be) and display it (simple enough, right? Okay, so I'm a neophyte) then please E-Mail it to me or a message where I can get it. Thanks. Jeff. jstern@aris.ss.uci.edu --------
