Since there's been an RGB database floating around in this newsgroup recently, may I be trendy and ask if anyone out there has a reasonably sized database of colours in XYZ co-ordinates? I've got the values for the Macbeth colour checker chart out of Roy Hall's book, but that's a pretty small sample..... Also, in a couple of months (or when I next have breathing space) I anticipate playing around with spectrally sampled rendering (i.e. more than three ordinates per colour). I once saw a database of colours sampled at seven or eight wavelengths, but I can't remember where. I think it may have been a paper that came out of Cornell. Does this ring a bell with anyone? -- Ian D. Kemmish Tel. +44 767 601 361 18 Durham Close uad1077@dircon.UUCP Biggleswade ukc!dircon!uad1077 Beds SG18 8HZ United Kingdom uad1077@dircon.co.uk
