[comp.unix.questions] TCP/IP For SYSTEM V

jte@psuvax1.UUCP (Jon Eckhardt) (11/08/86)

Does anyone have any sort of TCP/IP for system V. Serial line or
3bnet hardware it does not matter. I want to set up nntp and rrn
on a AT&T 3B2/300. Thanks.

We are a beta test site for the streams-based implementation of TCP/IP
for System V Release 3. I don't know if it is available outside AT&T.
I also don't know when it will become a product. Beta testing is just
starting.

TCP/IP is available for the 3B2 family running SVR2.0. The product is
called WIN/3B TCP/IP LAN Release 1.0 for the AT&T 3B2 Computer. A version for
paging systems will be available shortly. (Not STREAMS based but of course
it will work on SVR3.0 and SVR2.1). The product works with 3BNET hardware.
X.25 versions our on the way also.
