     The Bangs out of Los Angeles changed their name about a year ago
to The Bangles, due to conflicts with a similar group in New Jersey.
The Bangles have a five song EP out on Faulty records.  They're compared
to The Go-Go's mainly because they are an all-female band.  Actually
they sound much more like The Byrds, or The Mama's and Papa's.  One 
of my favorites of '83 so far.  (Right up their with The Three O'Clock).
