>PS Please don't tell me about the vitamin content of the peels -- I > really couldn't care less. You will probably be flamed to a crisp for that statement--so I thought I would post and tell you I agree. When I make mashed potatoes, I not only peel them, but I add LOTS of butter and salt. So I know they are unhealthy. Healthy is not why people eat mashed potatoes. Healthy is why people eat BAKED potatoes. (Which I do a lot more often.) With baked potatoes, you eat the skin. Mashed potatoes are sinful, degenerate, and dangerous. When you eat proper mashed potatoes, you can feel your arteries clog. So who worries about a few vitamins? I love them. But they are for special occasions. -- Sue Brezden Real World: Room 1B17 Net World: ihnp4!drutx!slb AT&T Information Systems 11900 North Pecos Westminster, Co. 80234 (303)538-3829 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Your god may be dead, but mine aren't. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
