References: Sender: Reply-To: rdm2@nvuxr.UUCP (22125-R McBurnett) Followup-To: Distribution: Organization: Bell Communications Research, Red Bank, NJ Keywords: Plexus Shared Memory I am trying to bring up some code that uses shared memory on a Plexus P35 system running System V.2 (Plexus version 1.5) The code works fine on an NCR Tower32 SVR2 and also on an Altos 3068 SVR2. The problem is like this: One process creates a shared memory segmemt, then a 2nd process tries to attach to the segment. The 2nd process always coredumps. If anyone has seen these problems and has a solution please let me know. I am in the process of putting together 2 hacked versions of the above processes that display the symptoms of the originals. I would be willing to share these with anyone who is willing to check out their shared memory routines.
